    Pet Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. Dental X-rays are taken of all teeth to evaluate what lies below the gum line. We use modern and safe ultrasound scaling to clean each tooth thoroughly – above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Extractions of diseased teeth are done to minimize discomfort and sealing of minor defects is also available.

Pet Pain Management and Laser Therapy

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. We have a Class IV laser, which is a non-pharmacological approach towards pain management. It is extremely effective in surgeries and other procedures such as arthritis, ear infections, wounds, spinal injuries, disk diseases, and other sources of inflammation. This is the same type of laser that institutions such as UC Davis and Cornell University use.
