Doggy Daycare

To help us keep your pets safe, all dogs must pass a temperament evaluation prior to admittance to Doggy Daycare.
Hours are 8:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
Pets that are not picked up before 6:00 pm will be boarded in our Pet Resort at owner's expense.
May be unavailable on or around major holidays. It is advised that you fill out the temperament evaluation for Doggy Daycare in advance since it is 3 pages long.

Kitty Kondos

Quiet room for cats ONLY!
Kondos meet the Feline-Friendly standards of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
All cats get to spend time in our Kitty Lounge complete with toys, areas to relax, and a full sun window! Please call us regarding cost and availability

Requirements

Dogs

All dogs boarding or participating in Doggy Daycare must have proof that they meet the following requirements before they may board:

  • DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) vaccine current

  • Bordetella vaccine within the last year

  • Rabies vaccine within the last 3 years

  • Negative fecal test within the last 6 months

  • Negative heartworm test within the last year

  • Doggy Daycare requires that all dogs over the age of 6 months be spayed or neutered

  • Puppies under 6 months of age must show proof of vaccines appropriate for age

Dogs that are found to have external parasites such as fleas or ticks will have an anti-parasitic medication administered at the owner's expense.

Cats

  • All cats that are boarding must have proof that they meet the following requirements before they may board:

  • FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) vaccine within the last year

  • Rabies vaccine within the last year OR 3 year rabies vaccine accepted if within the last 3 years

  • Negative fecal test within the last 6 months

  • Negative FeLV/FIV within the last year

  • Kittens under 6 months of age must show proof of vaccines appropriate for age

To Make Reservations

Please call (408) 899-4791 to ensure the dates you need are available.
To expedite the process, please download and fill out the Boarding Reservation Policy.
The Boarding Reservation can be submitted in the following ways: scanned and emailed, FAXed to us at 510-350-9046, or handed to us in person.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Drop-off time is after 11 am on the day of boarding. If you wish to bring your pet in earlier, please understand that there may not be availability and you may have to wait with your pet in our reception area until their accommodations are ready.
Pick-up time is before 11 am if you pick up after this time you will be charged for an additional day of boarding cost. Pick-ups after 7 pm are subject to an additional fee of $75. Pick-ups between 8pm-8am should expect delays to emergency veterinary staff tending to patients.

Be Prepared!

We will need proof of all requirements from your veterinarian.
Please submit your completed and signed Boarding Reservation Policy to us at the time you make your reservation.
We will also need a copy of the Boarding Registration Form for each boarding stay.
If you have never been here before, you will need to fill out a New Client Form
If you have a dog who is going into Doggy Daycare, don't forget the Dog Personality Form this only has to be filled out ONCE and we will keep it on file.
If your pet needs medications, they need to come in their original labeled containers

Deposits

Non-Holiday: Deposit for the full amount of boarding is required at the time of check-in.

Minor Holidays: Labor day, Memorial day, Independence day
Deposit for the full amount of boarding is required at the time of reservation.
The signed Boarding Reservation Policy must be received within 24 hours of the reservation being made.

Major Holidays: Thanksgiving week (11/20-11/30), Winter holiday (12/19-1/5)

Cancellations

Non-Holiday: Cancellations or changes can be made at any time.

Minor Holidays: Cancellations must be made 3 days prior to when the reservation would start. Deposit is non-refundable for cancellations less than 3 days prior to the reservation.

Major Holidays: Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to when the reservation would start. Deposit is non-refundable for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the reservation.

Please expect to spend at least 30 minutes for drop-off. Learn more about the process here.
